Firefighters tackle 100 straw bales on fire at Swaton
Firefighters were called to a straw bale fire in Swaton last night (Monday).
The incident at West End in the village was reported at 6.39pm and a crew from Billingborough was called out to a stack of around 100 waste straw bales ablaze.
The firefighters used a hose reel to put out the flames, according to a fire service spokesman.
