A quantity of whatare believed to be legal highs were seized from the home on Watson Road during the raid, which was carried out on Wednesday morning.

The warrant is one of the first to be executed by Nottinghamshire Police in a crackdown on legal highs under the new Psychoactive Substances Act.

A spokesman for Nottinghamshire Police said the seized substances had been sent for analysis in order to determine their contents.

They added: “A man and a woman are due to be interviewed in connection with the incident.”

This is not the first time the Watson Road address has been raided- in March, police seized cash and what was understood to be a quantity of the “legal high” Black Mamba being prepared for sale from the property.

Two men, a 28-year-old and a 53-year-old, were arrested and bailed in the incident and are also being interviewed under caution, according to police.

Inspector Neil Bellamy, district commander for Bassetlaw, said: “We will act upon any intelligence we receive from the community about it being sold or used in Worksop.

“As ever, the public has a hugely important role to play in helping us to tackle issues such as drug dealing and use, which have such a negative impact upon our communities.
