First ever Chamber Expo events aims to bring together like minded businesses

The Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce is holding the first ever Chamber Expo to bring together like minded businesses.

Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce Chief Executive, Simon Beardsley, will open the Expo on on Thursday, April 14, at The Showroom in Lincoln with a summary of the reach of the geographical reach of the Chamber, stretching into all four corners of the county.

Also showcased during the event, are the Chamber’s different projects which run alongside the core offering. These include Visit Lincoln, Select Lincolnshire for Food, Visit East Lincolnshire, Gainsborough Town Partnership and Business Watch, which work with businesses in a range of sectors including agri-food, business support, accommodation, visitor attractions, manufacturing, exports, business advisors, engineers, training providers, retailers, wholesalers, builders and creative businesses.

Paul Banton, Lincoln Area President, said: “As Managing Director at Ruddock’s, we have seen real value to being members of Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce. Now, in my role as Lincoln Area President I’m able to give something back to the business community which I have worked in for many years.

“Our members told us that they wanted to see a full chamber event, focused purely around membership. So this is what we’ve decided to do – and I’d like to invite all county businesses to come along and join us for it.”

The event is open to members and non-members with prices starting at £10 plus VAT. Members who joined after April 1, 2015, are invited to come to the event for free.Local businesses are also welcome to increase their company’s profile and exhibit at the event.
