Five illegal campers removed from Skegness beach

Police have assisted with the removal of five illegal campers from Skegness beach. '¨They worked with the P3 Street Outreach team and East Lindsey District Council on Thursday. '¨PCSO Mel Stanbrook said: 'Five tents and occupants have been moved from the foreshore area of Skegness as it is illegal to camp there. It has been led by ELDC and the P3 Outreach team, who have helped the occupants to find alternative housing arrangements. The police were there to assist rather than lead.' '¨It is understood ELDC plan to use signage to show that camping is illegal along the foreshore.
