Five-year-old fundraiser

Maya Baxter-McPhee, who is just five-years-old, completed her half century just before the Easter weekend.

And at the end of her challenge she was thrilled to be presented with a special medal from her parents.

The tot, who lives near York with mum and dad Lorraine and Mark, is a regular visitor to Clumber Park.

“Maya told me that she wanted to help other children not as lucky as she was,” said Lorraine.

“She has already raised £244 in sponsorship money. We are very proud of her.
