Flanders Friends in Mablethorpe gives Poppy Appeal £4,000 boost

Going by the name Flanders Friends, the ladies have already managed to raise a whopping £4,000 to date, having recently provided the British Legion with another cheque for £1,000.
The group would like to express their thanks to all those who have supported them and who continue to support the group, which includes several local businesses and residents.

So far this year, the group held a successful New Year’s Day Big Dip into the freezing Mablethorpe waters, which raised £2,400 alone.
They have also set up psychic nights, bangers and bingo, craft fairs, an Easter egg hunt and quiz sheets.
Flanders Friends are now working on a much larger project, which they hope to reveal very soon.
