Flying high for charity

Convenience foods producer Greencore held a charity balloon race at its funday to mark a decade of being in business.

As well as the race, the fun day, held at Manton Wood included games, activities and a tombola as well as food and a barbecue for staff to enjoy.

All the money raised from the balloon race was donated to Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice in North Anston.

A Greencore spokesman said: “Bluebell Wood is a local charity and people here at Greencore recognise what an important job the hospice does.”
