Fotherby House celebrates success
Fotherby House Residential Home recently held an awards night to celebrate their success over the previous year.
Staff, residents and family members were asked to vote for members of the team to show their appreciation.
There were seven categories, which included: ‘the person who makes me feel special’ nd ‘the person who makes me smile’, together with a manager’s and director’s award.
Refreshments included salmon and fizz, and a welcome speech from director Sarah Bedward paid tribute to the whole team for their hard work and dedication.
Guest speaker Steve Mansfield then reflected on his personal experience of Fotherby House.
Nominations were announced and staff had to walk up the red carpet, with residents clapping and cheering.
The organisers are planning to hold another similar event at the end of the year.
But this time, hope to include awards for residents of the home as well.
