And if you do not fancy anything too filling, there are also freshly-prepared paninis, toasties, jacket potatoes, sandwiches and homemade soup available all day.

And to finish off there is a great selection of puddings, cakes, gateaux and scones.

From Sunday, November 1, a two-course Christmas menu will be available and is served daily until Wednesday, December 23. Call in for a menu. Pre-booking is required.

As well as the café, there is also the garden centre to look around and with summer baskets no longer looking there best, you can still add colour to your garden throughout autumn and winter with its range of varied winter basket, tub and border plants now available, including violas, winter flowering pansies, cyclamen and many foliage plants.

Now is also a great time to tidy up the garden and refresh the borders by adding some winter flowering shrubs, or even sow a new lawn, while the soil is still warm after summer.

Pop over for all the stock and tools you will need to transform your garden, or if you are not sure what to buy just speak to a member of the team, who will be able to offer their help or advice.

And not forgetting our feathered friends too.

The garden centre stocks a large range of seeds, feed and feeders, together with bird baths and tables.

Readers can take up this offer of a free coffee or tea for two, worth up to £4.40, by simply taking the voucher in this week’s Standard and presenting it at the time of purchase from Thursday, October 15, until Wednesday, October 29.
