Your Standard has teamed up with the Citrus Café, which is located at the Retford and Gainsborough Garden Centre, Bar Road, Saundby, for this great offer.

Now the festive season is fast approaching nothing quite compares to the look and scent of a real fresh Christmas tree, so why not have a premium quality freshly cut Christmas tree in your home this Christmas.

At Retford and Gainsborough Garden Centre you can now buy your real, fresh cut tree or an environmentally friendly, living, pot grown Christmas tree; which afterwards can be planted outside for a permanent display.

The garden centre currently has in stock three of the most popular varieties of Christmas tree, Fraser Fir, Nordman Fir and Norway Spruce trees, which are all available in a range of sizes too.

The standard cut Nordman Fir non-drop trees, up to 7ft tall, are only £17.99.

And if you are not sure what to stand your new tree in, they stock two types of Christmas trees stands, one with the capacity to hold water - providing a constant supply of water will help keep your tree looking fresh throughout the Christmas Period or a slightly smaller but more decorative version.

And don’t forget the traditional Christmas wreath or garland for your front door, which adds to the festive spirit and are made from many various materials including tree foliage, holly, wicker, mistletoe, willow twigs, tinsel or flowers, leaves and fruits and they are displayed at Christmas to symbolise the advent season.

The Christmas wreaths are handmade from fresh Christmas Tree foliage and holly and decorated inhouse with bows and many seasonal trimmings.

These freshly made real Christmas wreaths are truly stunning and are available in different sizes and styles, together with a stock of beautiful artificial wreaths that can be used year upon year.

Additionally they also stock a range of both fresh and artificial stunning grave pots decorated in foliage and flowers.

And inside the shop the centre has Christmas lights, decorations, cards and gifts, including beautiful hampers, biscuits and jams, clothing by Tayberry and Regatta at huge discounted prices and accessories such as hats, scarves and gloves which would be ideal as gifts or winter warmers, with so much more to choose from too.

The centre is open daily from 9am to 4.30pm.

And if you want a rest from all that shopping, why not treat yourself to something from the Citrus Café where they serve three sizes of English breakfasts from 9.30am to 11.30am, hot lunches from midday to 2.30pm, including the Christmas lunchtime menu which is now available daily until December 23, for individuals and both small or large parties (pre-booking is required) or simply enjoy a lighter snack or naughty but nice creamed scone or cake.

The Citrus Café is open daily from 9.30am to 4pm, seven days a week.
