Each district provided its own range of activities and challenges, and exhibitions were also provided by a number of external organisations.

Andy Marsden, assistant county commissioner for development, South Yorkshire Scouts said the weekend showed the varied activities available through Scouting.

He added: “It was terrific to see so many young people take part in the camp, meet others in the county.”

“Camps like this can help to forge and build friendships that can last a lifetime and it really helped to show scouting at its very best.”
