Fundraisers lower the roof

THE Friends of Dinnington Resource Centre raised £4,800 to pay for improvements to the building.

The money was used to lower the ceiling in the main reception to help keep heating bills down.

Friends group chair Kerry Ravenhall said: “It took just over a year to raise the money.”

“We have held everything from psychic suppers and fashion shows, to a barn dance and kids events.

The Friends group is also on the look out for new members to get involved with fundraising.
