Visitors old and new are being invited to join the party and enjoy a slice of cake on Tuesday, 21st January at 12pm.

The café, which is run by Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS), has been open since 2010 to offer weekly help and support from both skilled health professionals and other mums.

Caroline Fisher, health visitor at LCHS, said: “We’re delighted to be celebrating our fourth year in Gainsborough.”

“In 2013, we had 1,059 visitors come along to our group sessions and we have moved into a larger room to accommodate more families every week.”

“We hope that this year more will come and see what we have to offer.”

Baby Cafés are a national initiative which give parents an opportunity to receive help and advice on breastfeeding as well as a range of other topics in a relaxed, café-style atmosphere.

“It’s also a great way to meet new friends and share experiences,” continued Mrs Fisher.

“We look forward to seeing as many families as possible at our fouth anniversary party.”

“New faces, including pregnant women, are very welcome to join in the celebrations too,” she added.

Gainsborough’s Baby Café meets weekly on a Tuesday lunchtime at Gainsborough Children’s Centre at Market Arcade in Gainsborough from 12pm to 1.30pm.
