Gainsborough: Be in with a chance of winning £600 worth of Lincolnshire Co-op Travel vouchers

Independent stores within the town centre and Marshall’s Yard in Gainsborough have joined up to offer a fantastic competition for shopper’s this Christmas.

From Saturday 1st November shoppers need to collect stamps from 12 independent retailers around Gainsborough and they coul dbe in with a chance of winning £600 worth of Lincolnshire Co-op Travel holiday vouchers and luggage bag.

Entry forms are available from all the paricipating retailers which are Emmalooos in Market Street, Oldrids in Market Place, Elegance in Church Street, Hallmark Cards in Silver Street, Horsleys of Gainsborouth in Church Street, Style and Grace in North Street, Browns in Marshall’s Yard, Sweet Traditions in Marshall’s Yard, Stanley Hunt Jewellers in Marshall’s Yard, The Florist in Marshall’s Yard, Chich in Marshall’s Yard and Cream in Marshall’s Yard.

Alison Hall, from Marshall’s Yard, said: “We’re gearing up for a really busy light’s switch on event on the 22nd of November however it’s not just about one day.”

“Supporting local businesses is at the heart of what we are doing for this event in Marshall’s Yard and the town centre; and the lead up to this is just as important.”

“By joining the competition you will have the chance to visit the excellent shops there are here in Gainsborough and get some perfect Christmas gift ideas as well as being in with a chance of winning some fantastic prizes.”

Once you have collected all 12 stamps, fill out your details on the entry form and return it to any of the participating retailers before 12pm on Saturday 22nd November to be in with a chance of winning.

This competition is a joint project ran by Gainsborough Town Partnership and Marshall’s Yard.

The winner will be announced after 4pm at the Christmas lights switch on event on Saturday 22nd November.

This event is taking place from 10am to 6pm and is taking place in Marshall’s Yard, Market Street and the Market Place.

There will be free face painting, horse and carriage rides and live music.
