Gainsborough: Blaze at Spalding’s
Fire crews were called to a blaze at a car garage in Gainsborough this afternoon (Monday).
Spalding’s Sales, Services and Repairs in Bridge Road, Gainsborough, caught fire at 1.30pm.
Chris Spalding first opened the garage back in 1992.
He said: “We think it was started by a spark from an earlier job.”
“We had all gone for lunch.”
“Luckily everyone got out fine.”
The fire was contained in the garage side of the building.
Bridge Road is currently closed from the roundabout to the traffic lights.
