Gainsborough: Charlie has been named as the Cutest Kid of the Year 2014
This year’s winner is Charlie Kenny, aged one, who is the son of Shaun Kenny, 27, and Hannah Allison, 24, from Gainsborough.

Hide AdHannah was convinced to enter Charlie in the competition by a neighbour.
She said: “I had been thinking about entering him but then a neighbour convinced me as he said Charlie was really cute.”
“He even had to get us the article from the paper as we had lost ours.”
“We weren’t expecting to win.”

Hide Ad“We’re really overwhelmed and happy that everyone has voted for him.”
“He’s really cheeky and as soon as you put him in front of a camera he starts smiling. He’s definately got a sense of humour, even at the age of one.”
The Cutest Kid 2014 competition was launched in October and photographic sessions were held which saw children being snapped from newborns to 5-years-old.

Hide AdThen in November the Standard gave you the chance to vote for your favourite child to crown our winning child.
All photographs for the competition were taken by Starlight Studios.
The children with the most votes from the three weeks were then placed into the top 10.
As the winning child, Charlie will receive a canvas of the winning picture and a Frankie and Benny’s voucher.
