Gainsborough church to unveil new war memorial
A new war memorial plaque will be unveiled in Gainsborough on Friday, November 18, at 7pm at the St. Thomas of Canterbury Church in Cross Street, Gainsborough.
The plaque will be unveiled by Wing Commander Fr. James Caulfield.
Many year’s ago the church’s war memorial was destroyed and they have now decided to purchase and install another plaque.
