Gainsborough: Fifty more jobs created as Lincoln County Council award a new home care contract

Fifty new job roles have been created in Gainsborough thanks to Lincoln County Council awarding Carewatch Care Services Lincoln a contract to deliver home care services.

The contract, which began on 1st July, involves delivering high quality personal and practical home care to residents who are elderly, require dementia care, have mental health problems, learning disabilities, palliative care or end of life needs.

Carewatch will be looking to recruit people who are compassionate, considerate and wish to make a real difference to the lives of others.

Flexible working hours are offered, from just a few hours each week to full time, and the role includes providing personal care and practical support to customers, such as helping them with shopping and accompanying them to clubs.

In return, full training and support will be given.

Kevin Nutt, Head of Bids and Contracts for Carewatch, said: “We’re delighted to have been appointed by Lincoln County Council and are committed to delivering a personal, caring and supportive service to the customers of Gainsborough.”

“We’re looking for compassionate people to join our team of professionals who enable our customers to retain their independence, dignity and security, in their own home.”

“This is a demanding but fulfilling career. If you believe you have the right qualities, we’d love to hear from you.”
