Gainsborough: First responder service boosted with arrival of new car

Gainsborough area First Responders, will benefit from the use of an emergency car leased for them by East Midlands Ambulance Service.

The new car was officially delivered to the unit at the weekend.

Among those on hand to celebrate the arrival of the car was local man Cliff Middleton, whose lived was saved by First Responders, after a heart attack.

Cliff has now recovered so well that he now takes part in 10km runs.

“They saved my life,” was his view of the work the responders do.
