West Lindsey Council is hosting a health fair at Gainsborough Golf Club on Monday, 23rd June from 10am to 2pm.

Organisations at the fair will include Early Prevention of Cancer (EPOC), West Lindsey Health Walks, West Lindsey Health Trainers, the exercise referral team, local physiotherapists, Addaction, Bumps and Beyond, L.I.V.E.S and a local mental health services representative.

Coun Owen Bierley, chairman of the council’s prosperous communities committee, said: “The health fair will be a great opportunity for people to come along and find out about all manner of things to help keep themselves and their families happy and healthy.”

“It is great to have so many services together under one roof.”

“There will be plenty of information and advice available on the day and for people to take away with them.”

“Everyone is welcome to pop in, chat to the experts and pick up information to take away with them.

Health trainer Vicky Guilliatt added: “The health fair is a free event where members of the public can come and find out more about health services that are available locally.”

“We hope that people will come up and have a chat with some local health professionals and go away with the knowledge that there are services available to support them with their health needs.”
