Warwick and Warwick Ltd, a national firm of auctioneers who have been trading for over 50 years, are visiting the area to give advice on selling your collectable items.

The company specialise in coins, banknotes, stamps, medals, militaria, postcards, cigarette cards, die cast toys and model railways.

Warwick and Warwick has built up a reputation for its expertise in the marketing of collectables.

They hold 24 auctions each year and have a worldwide collector based client list.

Many of the staff have worked there since the 1980s and four of the experts have more than 25 years of continuous service.

They will be conducting a valuation day at the Hickman Hill Hotel in Coxs Hill, Gainsborough on Tuesday 9th December from 9am to 1pm.

The public are invited to come along to the hotel to meet Warwick and Warwick’s company representative and discuss the possible sale of their collectables.

They have been to this area many times before and have always been delighted with the response.

Many people do not realise that they have possessions of value, especially postcard collections, where the black and white real photographic views, such as those illustrated are well collected and very popular at auction.

Military medals and militaria are also often more valuable than people imagine, always attracting strong bids on sale days.

Coin collections are also fetching high prices at present.

The auctioneers say that home visits may be possible if the collection is particularly large or difficult to transport.

Please feel free to call them on 01926 499 031 if you would like to make an appointment or have any questions.
