Gainsborough: Golf day raises thousands for charity
Members of Gainsborough Golf Club gathered to present a cheque bonanza to six local charities.
A total of £10,500 was raised at the Ping charity golf day in September.
The donated £2,000 to Homestart, £3,500 to Gainsborough House, £2,000 to Gainsborough Adventure Playground, £1,000 to Gainsborough Heart Support Group, £1,000 to LIVES First Responders and £1,000 to the mammography unit at Bassetlaw Hospital.
