Gainsborough: GP surgeries in area are a ‘low risk’ to patients according to health watchdog report

GP surgeries in and around Gainsborough pose a low risk to patients, according to a report by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

The CQC has given almost every GP surgery in England a rating from one to six with six being of the least concern, and one being the highest.

The watchdog says the register does not necessarily indicate poor GP surgery performance, but it will use the information to target its inspections.

Caskgate Street Surgery in Caskgate Street, Gainsborough, The Misterton Group Practice in Marsh Lane, Misterton, Trent Valley Surgery in Sykes Lane, Saxilby and Kirton Lindsey Surgery in Traingate, Kirton-in-Lindsey were all placed in band six which is of lowest concern.

Hawthorn Surgery in Scotten Road, Scotter and Willingham-by-Stow Surgery in High Street, Willingham-by-Stow, was placed in band five.
