Gainsborough: Information fair for future volunteers
The Voluntary Centre Services West Lindsey held an Information Fair at the Engine House in Gainsborough.
The event aimed to let everyone know about the support and advice services available to them, as well as promoting local volunteering opportunities and ways to get involved and was made possible by funding from West Lindsey District Council’s Community Chest.
Coun Matthew Boles said: “The volunteers that give up their time in the area do some great work and are often the ones who drive important projects along.”
“Volunteers are needed now more than ever and we should applaud those who make the effort.”
