Gainsborough: Police appeal for witnesses after burglary and attempted burglary on Lea Road

Between the hours of 5.45pm and 6.30pm on Saturday 1st November offenders gained entry to a property on Lea Road by forcing a rear door. Once inside they conducted an untidy search and a large quantity of power tools and high value cycles were taken from the address.

Within a short period of time an attempted burglary also occurred at another property on Lea Road where two offenders were disturbed running from the scene, leaving behind them one cycle and a power tool from the burglary at the other property.

Investigating officers would like to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious or out of place in the area around the time.
