Gainsborough: Police warning after spate of chicken thefts
Police are warning chicken owners to stay vigilant after a number of birds were stolen in and around Gainsborough in recent weeks.
The majority of the thefts have occurred on allotments but one incident took place in the garden of a private dwelling.
Police are asking chicken owners to keep their birds in a secure compound overnight and to pass on that advice to anyone else they know who keeps chickens.
