Gainsborough: Standard’s Cafe of the Year celebrate their win

Celebrations are underway at a Gainsborough cafe after the business scooped our Cafe of the Year award.

Cafe Culture, located in Oldrid’s department store, was chosen by customers for its exceptional cleanliness, food, customer service and atmosphere. Julie Bennet, who has been the manager of the cafe for 24 years, said she was ‘delighted’ about the win.

She added: “I’m so proud of what we’ve achieved here at Cafe Culture. We have a team of seven staff besides myself and we all strive to offer the best in customer care.”

“Our food is always tasty and of a good quality and we make sure the cafe is kept clean and tidy. This is why our customers keep coming back again and again- some have been regulars at out cafe for years.”

“I’ll be retiring later this year, so this award couldn’t have come at a better time- it feels like the perfect way to celebrate my time here. I’ll be so sad to leave.”
