Neil Silley, Senior National Address Data Manager, said: “West Lindsey District Council has achieved the highest standard of address information data management. Achieving this level demonstrates excellence and commitment to a process that brings local and national benefits.

“It is one of only two authorities in the East Midlands to not only achieve the Gold standard but maintain it for at least 10 out of the 12 months, during 2014/15.”

West Lindsey District Coun Owen Bierley, chair of the Prosperous Communities Committee, said: “To be recognised for management of residents’ information and the diligent monitoring of reporting to a secure central database is great news for the council and its residents. Those who live in the district look to us to make sure their information is up to date and protected.
