Gardens in Thorpe Salvin showcased at annual Garden Trail

After more than 30 years of award-winning gardening, the villagers of Thorpe Salvin are holding their annual Garden Trail on July 21, and 22, to showcase the village gardens.

And, this year, for the first time, a children’s treasure hunt has been organised around the village.

Jonathan Cobb, Thorpe in Bloom chairman, said: “The Garden Trail is the result of a huge year round effort on the part of many volunteers.

“As ever, we’re looking forward to meeting all the visitors to our village, faces old and new. And of course, it’s always a delight to be able to swap garden tips with those who share our interests.

“We hope to get more young people interested in gardening, through the treasure hunt this year.”

Entrance to the event is £5 per adult, children go free.
