Gateford Park Primary School in Worksop were visited by inspectors earlier this year and received an overall ‘Good’ rating.

Chair of Governors, Neil Hopkinson, said: “The governing body is extremely pleased with the recent Ofsted inspection report and in the current educational landscape wish to congratulate the headteacher, Mrs Blythe and the wonderful team of staff at Gateford Park Primary School, for their continued hard work and dedication for the experience of our children.

“I would like to thank our children who were impeccable with their behaviour and extremely well-mannered, enough so for the lead inspector to state this in his report.

“All credit goes to the development of the right ethos and culture of the school set by the staff, with regard to recognising and maintaining our very important school values.

“The report has identified and set out for the future the areas for our improvement and already the Headteacher, governing body and school staff are implementing our key strategic plan of action. This will enable the school to continue to improve.

“We want every child to progress at Gateford Park by having life long memories of an enjoyable experience, while at the same time ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to progress further and higher in education.”

Headteacher, Paula Blythe, said: “We are so proud that our achievements have been recognised in our recent inspection.

“Each and every one of our children, staff and governors are a credit to our school and make it the wonderful place that it is.

“It really is like a family. We don’t do what we do for Ofsted, we do it for the children. It’s very rewarding to have their seal of approval though.”
