Head of Academy Ellie Hextall congratulated students and staff on their achievements.
She said: “Although the government no longer reports on 5A*-C this is still a measure that parents are familiar with.
“The new Progress 8 measure, which this year will apply to all schools, recognises student progress from their starting points and takes account of the ability of the school’s cohort – we are delighted that Haven High is now well above the government target having missed it last year by only two hundredths of a point.”
The top 10 highest performing students at the school included: Davids Balkens (one A*, four As, five Bs, one C), Raquel Costa (one A*, one A, three Bs, six Cs), Dana Erta (two As, five Bs, five cs), Eligijus Liutkus (four As, five Bs, and two Cs), Mateusz Lugowski (four A*s, five As, one B, one C), Leona Mitcham (three As, four Bs, four Cs), Damian Powalski (three A*s, four As, two Bs, two Cs), Joe Reed (two A*s, seven As, two Bs, one C), Sophie Thomas (five As, four Bs, three Cs) and Chloe Whitlam (one A, four Bs, seven Cs).
