Generous donors spread cheer to young and old
Staff at a funeral directors were overwhelmed by the response to their request for Easter goodies to bring cheer to the young and old.
Donations of 542 chocolate egggs were made to Co-operative Funeral Care from members of the public and businesses including Morrisons , Tesco, M&S Food , Wilko’s, Bread & Roses and Industrial Window Cleaners.
The eggs were given to Gateford Hill Nursing Home, Forest Hill Nursing Home , Jubilee Court Nursing Home , Centre Place Worksop , Bassetlaw Foodbank , Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice , Bassetlaw Womens Aid and Little Angels Play Group.
