Generous HUG for local charities

Horncastle Ukulele Group (HUG) has supported three local good causes after their latest '˜string' of performances.

LIVES and the Air Ambulance each received £100 and Tiny Tots £50.

HUG started in 2013, when Andy Mathieson appealed for fellow ukulele beginners and players to join him at monthly sessions.

They progressed fast and played their first gig to the WI just a few months later; since then they have been practicing fortnightly.
