Get active, creative and inspired at free event

A free community event aiming to encourage people of all ages to be active, get creative, and feel inspired is to be held in Metheringham this week.

The NK Wellbeing Day takes place at Metheringham Village Hall and Princes Street Car Park on Friday, April 8, from noon to 4pm.

It is the first in a series of such events for 2016, all carrying the slogan “Be active, get creative, feel inspired”.

They are being organised by the NK Outreach team, with support from partners including NK Arts Partnership, Vitality, artsNK Dance Team, and NK Social Strollers.

They will feature a range of fun activities for the whole family.

These will include craft and outdoor activities and demonstrations on exercise and movement to music for the over 60s.

All children aged eight and under wishing to use NK Outreach equipment must be accompanied by an adult over 18.
