Boston residents can take the plunge themselves, along with family and friends, to complete a swimming challenge of their choice while raising funds for those in need.”

This year money raised from the event will go to helping Sport Relief.

Half of all the money the public raises is spent by Comic Relief in the UK, with the other half used in the world’s poorest communities.

Swimathon will take place in more than 600 pools across the UK.
