Gift of thanks to Sutton duo Margaret and Pat
The management committee at Sutton Social Club have presented a gift of thanks to organising duo Margaret Gale and Pat Gatton.
The pair have organised and run the discos held at the venue on a Wednesday evening. Margaret has worked tirelessly for the last eight years to ensure that individuals with varying degrees of disability enjoy their evening out at the club.
Unfortunately, the client group has reduced so the committee’s has confirmed that the disco has had to close.
However, they expressed their gratitude to Margaret and Pat for their commitment and enthusiasm, adding they were an inspiration to other volunteers who give up their own time to help others.
