Girls celebrate armed forces day
TO celebrate National Armed Forces day which took place on Saturday, June 25, a number of girls in Mablethorpe spent the day fundraising for the cause.
£290 was raised by going round the resort with buckets, making the grand total for the day £811 for the events happening across Mablethorpe and Sutton.
Organiser Mark Reddin said: “A big thank you to all the establishments who allowed the girls to go in and collect and an extra big thank you to the Victoria Guest House, Victoria Road, for all their continued support to the Poppy Appeal.”
