Bryony said: “There were many other worthy recipients of honours being presented on the day and I felt humbled and honoured to be in their company.”

“A common thread was that everyone receiving an honour loved their work and were committed to the difference that it made to others.”

“I am humbled that my passion for the work I do has been recognised at this level. I was astonished when I received the letter from the Cabinet Office as it was the last thing I was expecting.”

“On the day, Prince William congratulated me on my award. He was very charming and put everyone at their ease.”

Over the last 35 years, Bryony has achieved a vast amount and the launch of the North Lincolnshire Communication Strategy in 2013 is one of her proudest moments.
