Golf buggies worth £80,000 stolen from club

THIEVES have stolen eight golf buggies from Gainsborough Golf Club, worth £80,000.

Overnight on Wednesday 29th August, a group of people entered the site off The Belt Road, Gainsborough, where the buggies were chained and padlocked.

The buggies are blue and have Ping written on them. They are worth around £10,000 each.

Four have since been recovered, damaged. But four others are still missing.

Police are appealing to anyone who saw any suspicious activity, or who knows where the remaining buggies are, in the area to get in touch.
