Grantham court: Drugs possession and assault admitted

A Wilsford man received a suspended prison sentence after pleading guilty to four charges, including carrying items for use in connection with a burglary, drugs possession and assault.

Alan Davidson, 36, of Main Street in Wilsford, admitted carrying gloves, a torch and a screwdriver in connection with a burglary, assaulting a police constable, possessing nine Subutex tablets and resisting arrest, all on February 2 in Money’s Yard, Carre Street, Sleaford.

Davidson received a 12-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months, a community order including 100 hours of unpaid work, and was told to pay £300 in compensation and costs of £164.
