United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) is holding the open day on Saturday, June 27, at Grantham and District hospital to find out about working there and at the trust’s other sites at Lincoln and Boston.

Registered nurses, allied health professionals, support workers and people looking to return to nursing or adapt qualifications gained abroad are invited to go along.

There will be a chance to tour the wards and departments at Grantham Hospital and meet staff.

Acting Chief Nurse Pauleen Pratt said: “Health professionals are welcome to come and find out more about what we do. This is an exciting time to join the trust as we are making massive improvements in the quality of our services. We are looking to recruit more clinical staff to help us build on the excellent improvements in care we have already made.

“As well as registered staff, we are also hoping to attract those whose children have recently started school and are now thinking about going back to work, or who have recently retired but are looking to return part-time. We also want people who have qualified abroad and want to adapt their qualifications to UK standards”.
