Grants for local good causes

East Lindsey District Councillors have given grants to several good causes in our area, through the Councillor Community Grants scheme.

Councillor Sandra Harrison awarded £443.20 to Strubby, Beesby and Maltby Village Hall for security repairs to the front door, including a 
new door frame.

Councillor Ros Jackson has awarded £470 to Home-Start’s Louth branch, allowing them to create a Kids’ Patch structure at the Charles Street allotment, consisting of a willow dome and tunnel with raised flower beds to allow and encourage all children to play outdoors.

Councillor Richard Fry has awarded £1000 to Elkington Parish Council to purchase an interactive speed indication device to be sited in South Elkington. The sign will be situated on the main road through the village.
