Great summer fair at school

This year’s fair was held indoors with stalls in the theatre, bouncy castles in the sports hall and a cafe in the old gym - in a bid to beat the unsettled weather.

Children from the pre-prep introduced the event with a brilliant performance of Step In Time from Mary Poppins and other melodies, including The Runaway Train and We’re The Guards.

Children and staff were responsible for stalls including a human fruit machine, henna tattoos, face painting, the stocks, doughnut stand, cake & sweet stalls and many more.

A school spokesman said: “It was a fantastic morning accompanied with delicious freshly made food and a fun atmosphere. A perfect celebration of the beginning of summer.”
