Groups can Step Up for grants

After a successful first year, East Lindsey's Talk, Eat and Drink project is moving on to the next phase in its programme.

The Big Lottery funded project will be unveiling its Commissioned Services at a special launch being held at Stanhope Hall, Horncastle on Friday, May 27, from 9.30am to 12.30pm.

Project manager Neil Clurow explained: “The project wants community groups to take advantage of commissioning in order to deliver better outcomes for older people.”

The first round of the Commissioned Services will offer Step-Up grants for community groups and charities providing a service for older people. Groups can apply for up to £2,500 worth of goods or services to start a new activity, or allow new people to access an activity.
