Not only is Mrs. Foy the driving force behind the school’s eco-garden, but she has also proven her dedication by undertaking several fundraising challenges in support of charities with connections to the school.

Vicky praised Linda on her “enthusiasm and sunny nature” and the work she has carried out to help particular pupils who have since blossomed in confidence.

Vickys aid: “Mrs Foy has given a great deal of time and support to our children in Panthers class.

“Her caring nature, patience and energy make her a friendly face for pupils to turn to if they need a helping hand or a word of support.

“In 2015, she even went miles further than most by running the London Marathon to help Sam Ferrol’s son Andrew and their family in fundraising efforts to find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.”

“Mrs. Foy goes so far above and beyond for the school and the pupils in her care, that we wanted to surprise her and show her how much she is appreciated by so many of the pupils and parents at St. John’s.”
