Guide duo in Mablethorpe finish '˜Chief Guide's Challenge'

Two Mablethorpe Ranger Guides have recently completed the '˜Chief Guide's Challenge', one of the highest awards a Girl Guide can receive.

The two youngsters who achieved the award were Rebecca Whitbread and Hannah Hawkins and they received them at the Mablethorpe Ranger Guides HQ, the Guide hall in Sherwood Field in the town.

The award has a range of requirements within the Guiding system and you have to be at least 14-years-old to take part and it can take several years to complete.
