Harworth: Asda “effect” set to reduce petrol price

Asda is giving customers in Harworth the chance to fill up their tanks for less following the opening of its new forecourt on Scooby Road.

The store’s unleaded petrol is priced 9.9ppl below the average price in the area, whilst diesel is at 10.2ppl.

This means more drivers will have access to Asda’s lower fuel prices, which has been seen in other parts of the country.

Richard Terry, store manager at Asda Harworth, said: “Families in Harworth are used to us helping them keeping the cost of living down and now they can fill up for less with us too. I hope other forecourts follow suit.”
