Harworth: Brass band set for TV date

But this Bank Holiday Monday, they will be starring in a different kind of show as some of their members appear on the ITV show, Star Treatment.

Six members of the band will be will be transformed with a top-to-toe makeover from host Jane McDonald and her team of hairdresser Andrew Trott-Barn, make-up artist Cassie Lomas and celebrity stylist Lorraine McCulloch.

Once the makeovers are complete, the six will get strut their stuff down the catwalk in front of fellow band mates, family and friends before sitting down to a slap-up gourment meal that their conductor Claire Cowan will be helping top chef Ricky Andalacio to make.

The meal and catwalk show will both take place at Ye Old Bell hotel and Restaurant at Barnby Moor near Retford.

Harworth Brass’ big date with the cameras and the catwalk comes up this Monday on ITV at 12noon.
