Harworth: Multi-million pound ‘employment park’ development set to create up to 3,500 jobs

Plans for the 2.5m sqft employment park were submitted to Bassetlaw Council this week and residents and businesses will be able to have their say once the consultation period opens over the coming weeks.

“Harworth and Bircotes have been identified as a the main key regeneration area for both housing and businesses in Bassetlaw.”

“Companies of all sizes are now discovering that Bassetlaw, has excellent travel links and connectivity that will allow companies to thrive on a national scale.”

The news comes after the council’s Regeneration and Investment Team worked closely with the developers Barton Willmore, the UK’s largest independent, integrated planning and design consultancy and land owners Harworth South Ltd, who are funding the £200m project.
