Harworth: Treats galore at new Aldi store’s Valentine’s themed family fun day

Delighted children enjoyed a range of Valentine’s Day themed treats last weekend at Aldi’s Family Fun Day in Harworth.

The store, which opened on Scrooby Road in January, handed out themed gift bags to customers on Saturday 14th February filled with Valentine’s goodies and healthy products.

Families also enjoyed face painting, balloon modelling and hot food catering.

Aldi store manager, Jayne Adderley, said: “We’ve had a great response since opening the new store last month and it was fantastic to see so many customers enjoying the event.”

“Aldi is proud to engage with the local community and the team is looking forward to continuing this in the future.”

Aldi opened its new store in Harworth on Thursday 29th January, creating 25 new jobs for the local community.
